Modern Builders is a very busy construction company installing metal roofing, metal siding and red iron pre-engineered buildings around the state. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Construction Laborers to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will assist in various tasks to support the construction process. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in outdoor environments and perform manual labor.
Construction experience is not required as we will train on the job, pay can also be commensurate with experience.

Duties:

- Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites
- Load and unload heavy materials and equipment
- Erecting and dismantling scaffolding and temporary structures
- Operate hand and power tools as directed
- Following instructions from supervisors and foreman
- Assisting skilled tradesmen in their duties
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Install banding, insulation, metal trim, roof and panels
- Ability to work from heights and elevated surfaces wearing proper PPE

Experience:

- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed
- Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in construction
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks (lift 40+ lbs)
